Top 3 Muscle Building Protein Shake Recipies

Hey Everyone,

Today I wanted to share with you some of my FAVORITE Muscle Building Shakes!

protein shakeShakes are a great convenient way of getting in a ‘meal’ when you are short on time.

They are also useful when Bulking Up as they are an easy source of extra calories and they dont require much preperation or chow time.

There are several little tricks I have found useful in developping creative shakes that are both healthy and delicious.

The longer you have been taking shakes in, the more you want different recipies instead of the same old stuff.


Top 3 Shakes Revealed:

1. Maple Syrup Banana Chocolate Chip

- Maple Syrup Extract (1-3 Droplets)
- 1 Medium size banana
- 1-2 Scoops of Protein Powder (Chocolate Chip Flavor)
- 750ml of Milk or Water
- 1/2 scoop of Steel Oats

Blend for 1 minute on high or until desired consistency is met.

2. Mint Chocolate ‘Ice Cream’

- Mint extract (1-3 droplets)
- 1-2 Scoops Chocolate Protein Powder
- 2 Tbsp of Almond Butter
- 1/2 cup of eggwhites
- Water (100ml-200ml) Dont add too much water,we dont want it to be too liquidy.
- 5-8 Cubes of Ice

*Ok you can make this as a shake, or you can make it like ice cream :)
To make the consistency more like ice cream, and so you can eat it with a spoon, dont add too much water. It may take a couple of tries to get it right but you don’t want it to be liquidy.

First, dont add too much water. only add more if it is not blending properly. Blend until it is almost like crushed ice. It should still be thick.

Then grab a bowl and a spoon and enjoy this tweaked ice cream treat.

3. Chocolate Peanut Butter Caffeine Buzz Smoothie

- 2 Tbsp of Peanut Butter
- 1-2 Scoops of Chocolate Protein Powder
- 1/2 cup of low fat cottage cheese (I know, a little odd, but it tastes good)
- 1 Cup of Milk or Water
- 1 tbsp of Coffee
- 1/2 cup of oats
- Sprinkle cinnamon to tast
Blend for 1 minute on high or until desired consistency is met.

Ok so those should be keep your taste palate satisfied for a while.

Remember that these are more designed to build muscle, so if you are not looking to do that you may want to reconsider some ingredients. Perhaps not as much oats and 1 tbsp less of fat soruces (peanut butter and almond butter).
