Wow, the countdown is on!
To tell you the truth, after last nights workout, I had a hard time leaving the gym. Not because I was sore or tired (I was both) but I felt surreal for a moment…the pain, the fatigue the hunger didnt matter because I felt so good for following through and giving it EVERYTHING I had. Seriously.
Then I wanted to make sure I really depleted my glycogen levels so I did some high rep isolation exercises to further drain any glycogen left.
Here is what my fat loss workout consisted of. Remember, this was not my design, I merely used it as I had not had any experience before for prepping for a shoot and the guy who designed this for me has done over 20 competitions. I sitll design my own training for the most part but when it comes time to specialize, I outsourced this one

So as you can see, I am using very light weight on this particular circuit but I am doing high reps. Now this is not to say that high rep training is the best to burn fat, but when you systematically time it properly with a lead up phase and time your nutrition and other manipulations correctly, this is what most physique competitors use to ‘peak’ for a show or a photoshoot.
I have used something similar in the past and it works!
So I did that circuit about 4 times in all and it almost accumulated to 1000 Reps!!! This is a good test of will. It takes everything in you to keep going. Especially on the final day when your carbs are at a bare minum.
Here is a breakdown of day 4 manipulations.

It felt great to eat carbs again today. It was strange, after 2 meals, I wasnt hungry at all for the next ones but then as they approached I would get really hungry!
All in all, I am filling out again, dropping water weight and tightening up.
Going to be dropping more water from diet over the coming days till I cut it out completely on Friday.
Looking forward to Friday the most, as I get to have a juicy steak with a glass of wine which is pretty standard the night before to help pull more water from your body in prepping for the shoot.
Also did total body shave tonight…what an experience…
I am beat so I am heading to bed, another big day of carbing up tomorrow.
