Shoulder Workout – Shoulder Superset Training

In this shoulder exercise video, I am going to show you how to incorporate superset training to work your shoulder muscles.

In order to build the shoulders, you need to be including a combination of the right exercises as well as different training styles

This video demonstrates how to utilize superset training using the Dumbbell Shoulder Press and Dumbbell Front Raises.


You can also use different variations such as replacing the Dumbbell Shoulder Press with a standing Military Press and you can use side raises instead of front raises.

Essentially, what you want to do, is get setup first.

Get the becnh setup, then grab two sets of dumbbells. One set for your presses and one set for your front raises.

Start by doing 8-10 dumbbell presses, then immediately after fininshing your set, begin performing front raises for about 8-10 reps.

The advantage to performing a superset is that you will pre-fatigue the muscle using a compound exercise then you will further fatigue slower twitch muscle fibers with an isolation exercises in your pre-fatigued state.

Including a shoulder superset in your next shoulder workout will help you build a big set of shoulders.
